VietnamLIVE is an Web television service designed to bring the latest Vietnamese news, music, movies, game shows and children’s TV programming to oversea Vietnamese around the world. Our goal with the site is to foster and grow a vibrant Vietnamese community online.
VietnamLIVE is an interactive television service designed to provide viewers with an entirely new experience of watching TV that we call Everything On Demand. We archive every second of programming from each of our network partners, enabling our viewers to watch anything they want, whenever they want. No other media company in the world yet offers such a complete catalog of content over the Internet – even the Big Media companies like NBC, ABC and CBS are only offering a very limited set of reruns from their catalog online.
TopYES! We offer a FREE Basic Membership that requires nothing more than your email address to sign up. Basic Members are able to watch an unlimited amount of all our Live streaming content from all channels.
Basic Members can also watch unlimited Today On Demand television. Using our TV Guide, you can watch any show that is aired today totally free.

LIVE is content broadcasted by time, just like conventional TV. LIVE content is broadcasted according to your time zone (for most time zones), not Vietnam time zone. Therefore, you don't have to wait until midnight or early morning to watch prime-time programs.
On Demand means picking a show and it watch from begining to the end, regardless of when it was broadcasted, yesterday or a year ago.
TopWhen we say "Everything On Demand" what we are talking about is an entirely new way of watching television, where the viewer is able to watch any show they want, immediately. Rather than simply having a choice of a few dozen different channels to watch, VietnamLIVE.tv offers literally thousands of different shows to pick from. To sign up for a Premium Membership, you can click on the "Become a Premium Member " link at the bottom of our page or simply click here to be taken to our subscription page directly. Premium Subscriptions require a credit card, PayPal account or mailed cashier's check. Basic Subscriptions only require a valid email address.
Simply click the "Account" link in the footer of our website and then set your account to not renew automatically. To do this, set the dropdown option entitled "Auto-renew” to “No”. When your current subscription period ends, your subscription will expire and you will be returned to the free, Basic Membership status.
Premium Memberships are sold in monthly, 3 month, 6 month and annual packages and you can set them to auto-renew or not at the time of purchase. Members may also change this renewal setting at any time from within their Account Page.

Yes, we use the same encryption and SSL security that your bank uses to keep your account information safe. We will not release your email address or personal information to anyone, EVER.
WE DO NOT keep your credit card in any database or on file anywhere, we simply encrypt it and send it to our payment processor (Cybercash or Paypal, depending on which you choose). We never store it at all.

TopClick the "Login/Register" button on the lower left corner of the VietnamLIVE.tv homepage, and a login screen will appear. Simply enter your email address and password to log in.
If you have forgotten your password, you can click the "Recover Password" link on this page to be emailed a reminder.
Once you are logged in, simply click the “Logout” button next to your email address in the lower left corner of the window. If you are watching VietnamLIVE.tv from a shared computer, it is a good practice to sign out so others don’t use or change your account information.
Simply click the "Live TV" text at the top of the screen, next to where it says "On Demand TV" and "TV Guide". This is a button and will take you to the Live feed from one of our channels.
When watching Live TV, you can change the channel simply by clicking the up or down arrows next to where it says "Channel" above the video window. When watching On Demand TV, changing the channel will automatically take you back to the Live TV feed for that channel.
You can ONLY watch an unlimited amount of our On Demand content if you have purchased a Premium Membership. If you have a Basic (free) Membership, you can watch 15 minutes of On Demand television as a preview of the Premium Membership experience. It is extremely expensive to archive all this content and stream it to users around the world On Demand, so these premium services are reserved for our paying customers.
To access this premium content area, simply click on either the "On Demand TV" button or the "TV Guide" button at the top of the screen, next to where it says "Live TV". Clicking on either of these will take you to our On Demand library. If you click the "On Demand TV" button, you will be presented with several different categories that you can choose from to find a program you want to watch.
If you click the "TV Guide" button you will be shown a TV Guide-style listing of all the shows by channel and time aired. Since we record every program aired, you can use this TV Guide to move through time and watch shows that were on earlier in the day (or season).
And finally, you can always just use the search box at the top right of our homepage to search directly for any show in our archive – by title, type/category, etc. This is the quickest and easiest way to find and watch exactly what you’re looking for in our On Demand library.
Clicking the "TV Guide" button will display a timeline of all the shows aired today on a particular channel, starting from midnight. To see what was on later in the day, use the scrollbar to move down.
To change which day or channel the TV Guide is showing, click the channel and date button, located to the upper right of the Guide. A calendar view is included here to make is easy to jump to any particular day or month. Click either HTV7 or HTV9 beneath the calendar view to have the TV Guide to list shows from that channel.
Absolutely. To the upper right of our website you will find a search box. Any show can be found by show title, genre, category or tag. Use multiple terms to narrow your search.
Simply click the "Return to Video" button to the upper right of this page, above the bamboo graphic. Clicking this will scroll you back up to the video.
We pause your video when you click to read this or other text on our site, so you won’t lose your place in the show you were watching.
TopYes, and please do! At the bottom of each video you will see a 5-star icon. Moving mouse over this icon to give this show number of stars it deserves. You can also see how others have rated the show.
We also plan to soon introduce comment fields beneath each video so you can give more feedback as to whether or not you liked a show.
TopYou can pause any show by clicking the "pause" button in the bottom left corner of the video control. Clicking the same button again resumes play. You can also click anywhere on the playing video window will toggle between play and pause.
Note: "Pause" and "Play/Resume" functions share one button.
TopSimply click the button on the lower right corner of the media control (four arrows pointed outwards). To leave fullscreen view, click this same button again or press the "escape" key.
Email addresses make ideal login names, as they are unique and generally easy for the user to remember. We also need an email address to facilitate any communication about your account.

To prevent fraudulent password circulation and reuse, however, users can only be logged into VietnamLIVE.tv from one PC at a time.
To ensure no one ever makes changes to your account without your permission, be sure to sign out when done viewing, especially on a public or shared computer. (To do so, click on the "Logout" link in the footer of the page).

TopYes, you can show our content but we do need to know about it first, so please contact us if you’d like to show our authentic Vietnamese television programming in your own storefront, restaurant or cafe.
Although we don’t yet have any formal program in place, we do plan to allow retail establishments to show our programming without charge, so long as they’re willing to put up some signage so customers can know that the content is coming from VietnamLIVE.tv.
TopWe stream video at different rates depending on the content type and viewer location, although most of our video streams are sent at between 300-500 kbps. For a good experience, you will need a broadband connection (DSL or Cable) to watch any high-quality video online. Most broadband connections offer more than enough bandwidth. (Dial-up is not supported.)
